Larry's obituary

Larry Lee Langevin, age 82, of Fairfield, Ohio, died October 12, 2024, at Hospice of Hamilton.

Larry was born August 5, 1942, in Richmond, Indiana to Rollie and Ada (Faucett) Langevin. He graduated from St. Meinrad Seminary in 1960. In 1962, he married the love of his life, Janet (Clarkson) Langevin, and had 4 children. He had a servant heart and dedicated his life to helping others. He was caretaker for his wife, Janet, and son, Brian, prior to their passing. He was humble, kind, loving and the best father and grandfather. He welcomed countless children into his home over the years and was “Dad” to each and every one. To know him was to love him.

He is survived by his sons Mark (Toni) and Doug (Karen), and daughter Melissa (Ben); his grandchildren Ayla, Trey (Madeline), Kara (Wyatt), Zach, Landen, Lynsey, Jacob, Samantha (Eric), Andrew (Melissa) and Lydia; great grandchildren Keller, Ethan, Ellie and Lucy; brother, Ron (Patty) Langevin, sister-in-law Vickie Clarkson and many nephews, nieces, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Wilfred and Mabel (Engel) Clarkson; son, Brian Langevin; siblings, Virgil (Josephine) Langevin and Warner (Lena) Langevin; sister-in-law Mary Barnes, and brothers-in-law Raymond (Wilma) Clarkson, Roy (Linda) Clarkson and Marvin Clarkson.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in Larry's name to the American Heart Association.
