Larry graduated from Batavia High School in Batavia, New York in 1966 and shortly after, joined the United States Air Force where he was a Staff Sergeant, serving for 7 years from 1966-1973. After he served his country, he left with an Honorable Discharge, Purple Heart, and multiple merits after getting wounded during active duty. He then went to Genesee Community College where he got his Associates Degree in Applied Science where he then worked in electronics. Larry then changed his career path and became a trucker, where he was able to see the beautiful scenery of the United States. After retiring in 2020, Larry decided to bring his workforce life to an end, and enjoy his time at home, loving and caring for the people who meant most to him.

Larry loved being surrounded by family and friends and it would always put a big smile on his face. He enjoyed the church services every Sunday with the church family at Overlook Chapel. Larry was a kind hearted soul and always welcomed everyone into his family whether you were blood or not. He enjoyed music, dancing, Star Wars and “As seen on TV purchases”. He also enjoyed watching Hallmark movies with his beautiful wife Sami. Enjoying time with family and loved ones is the most important thing a; Husband, Father, Brother, Son, and friend can do, and Larry set the best example for that.
