LARRY WALTER KRAMER was born in Vancouver, Washington on November 4, 1941. He graduated
from Hudson's Bay High School, went to Portland State University with a football scholarship and
graduated in 1965 with a mechanical engineer's degree. He then went to work for Moore Oregon.
Larry and Mary Lou married in l968. Larry decided to accept a transfer to Moore Canada and the
booming lumber industry in Canada. After working several years actively involved with the design
and building of large lumber handling machines, Larry was offered the job of running new office for
Lumber Systems Inc. and joining the sales force. When LSI closed down, he decided to become
self-employed and began working as a consultant. He continued to work at LWK Consulting until
age 74.

Larry enjoyed retirement with cooking and long walks every day. Larry and Lou were especially
fond of nearby Newton Pond Park with its abundant wildlife. They eventually took a cruise to
Alaska and enjoyed several train trips to US to visit family and friends. After Covid they decided
to stay in Canada and were hoping for more quiet years. But Larry had a fall which necessitated
a stay of over two months in Surrey Memorial Hospital revealing an unknown heart condition
which eventually led to his passing on July 14,2025. Larry had a painless death with Lou by his
side.

Larry is survived by his wife, son Matthew, stepdaughter Jennifer, brothers Keith and Rick and
sister Janis; also numerous nephews and nieces in Vancouver. Keith's family with more
nephews and nieces in Oregon and KRAMER VINEYARD being run by Kim and Becky with
Matthew working too.
