>Larry Hopgood, age 70, passed away on January 07, 2025 after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Born on March 11, 1954, He brought immense joy to those around him.

Larry's journey touched the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of strength and resilience. His unwavering spirit in the face of adversity was an inspiration to all who knew him. Larry is preceded in death his parents Ethel Marie and Johnny Hopgood, sister Betty Jo, and step daughter Wanda. Larry is survived by his wife Patricia Sumerau, children Jason Hopgood (), Larry Hopgood jr (), Kristy (), Autumn Chase, step children Jackie Richmond, Robert Kennemer (Shelley) William Sumerau Sr., grandchildren: Courtney, Dakota, Stormy and Bailey; Edward Kennemer( Karea) (Wanda) , Kimbreley Kennemer (Wanda)( Clifton Junkins) Jeremy Baggs(Jessica Baggs) (Wanda) Barbara Deyo Rochelle (Jackie) Misty Lewis ( Jackie) Ricky Deyo ( Jackie) Michael Deyo(Jackie) Christopher Deyo ( Jackie) A J. He will be remembered for his kindness, compassion, and the positive impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to have known him. > The funeral service to honor and celebrate Larry's life will be held on Tuesday January 14,2025 at 3:00 p.m at First Assembly Of God on Bailey in Jacksonville Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a multiple myeloma research foundation in memory of Larry.
