Larry's obituary

Larry Gordon Holderfield, 79, of Cypress, TX, graduated to eternity on April 26, 2022.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Second Baptist Church in Cypress located at 29900 Highway 290, Cypress, TX 77433 with Pastor Stephen Bailiff officiating.

Larry was born on September 2, 1942, in Indianapolis, Indiana to George Richard Holderfield and Beulah Faye Clark Holderfield.

Larry was an active member of Second Baptist Church. He was an avid golfer. He loved spending time with his wife and family. He enjoyed playing baseball and softball as well as watching his children, grandchildren, and great-grandson play various sports and activities. He also enjoyed Men’s Bible Studies to continue to grow his walk with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Larry is survived by his wife, Brenda Sue Giangrosso Holderfield; daughter and son-in-law, Donna Sue Keys and Jeffrey John; and son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery Kevin and Leslie Smith Holderfield; grandchildren, Gregory Thomas Frank and wife Sharon Pate Frank, Corey Andrew Frank, Mayson Suzanne Keys, Jillian Lee Holderfield, and Layni Janae Holderfield; great-grandson Clark Thomas Frank, and other relatives.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Jane Evelyn Collins.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeffery Holderfield, Jeffrey Keys, Gregory Frank, Corey Frank, and Clark Frank.

As per his wishes, Larry is donating his body to science for cancer and heart research; therefore, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Larry G. Holderfield and directed to the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation at https://netrf.org/get-involve….
