He was a father who showed up—not only for his daughter game, but for every one of her teammates and encouraged us. He was truly amazing to me. Great job out there, Mo—you always encouraged me to hold my head up. It saddens my heart to hear about your passing. My deepest condolences to your wife, daughter, and family. My deepest condolences to Larry’s family-wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Audrey, Ronnie and Lorraine.

We grew up in the projects in Albany, N.Y and Larry was a good friend, easy going , pleasant personality, funny and always showed his beautiful personality. A couple of decades ago I was working in Manhattan and was walking to a concert in Bryant Park when I heard someone call my name.. it was Larry. We hadn’t seen each other in over 30 years but we talked like it was yesterday. He was that same sweet person.

God bless the family and I’ll be praying for you all.
