Larry's obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Dixon, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left us too soon on July 16, 2024, at the age of 65. Larry was a beacon of strength, love, and generosity, deeply cherished by all who knew him.

Larry was the proud father of Jamie, and his legacy lives on through his four adored grandchildren:  Gabriel, Maryanna, Jaylee, and Annaleishia. He was not just a father and grandfather, but a pillar of support and a source of unwavering love and guidance for his family.

For over 40 years, Larry owned and operated a truck repair company, a testament to his hard work, dedication, and exceptional skill. His commitment to his work was matched only by his devotion to his family and community. Larry's work ethic was unparalleled, and he took immense pride in providing for his loved ones and ensuring their happiness and well-being.

Larry's generosity and kindness knew no bounds. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, and his door was always open to friends and strangers alike. His warm smile and kind words had the power to uplift spirits and bring comfort to those around him.

He was a man of great integrity, deeply respected and loved by his eight siblings, who shared countless memories and moments of joy with him. Larry's family meant the world to him, and he was always there to support, encourage, and protect them.

Larry Dixon's legacy is one of love, kindness, and unwavering support. He leaves behind a family that will forever cherish his memory and strive to honor his values and the love he shared so freely.

Larry is survived by his daughter Jamie; grandchildren Gabriel, Maryanna, Jaylee, and Annaleishia; his siblings Peggy McNichol, Joyce Dixon, Gary Dixon, Janet Bigelow, James Dixon(Jimmy); and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of Larry's life will be held on Sunday  July 28th at The Hyatt Hotel  New Port Richey . In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Jamie Dixon to help with funeral cost. reflecting Larry's spirit of generosity and compassion.

Rest in peace, Larry. Your love and light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew you.
