Landen James Garsee Obituary

Funeral service celebrating the life of Landen James Garsee will be 2:00pm, Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Apostolic Restoration Church, West Monroe, LA., with Pastor, Ben Petrella, Pastor, David Mixon, and Pastor, Tommy McMurray, and Bro. Josh Goldman officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends for visitation 5:00pm until 9:00pm, Friday, November 25, 2022, at the church.

On late Saturday morning, November 19, 2022, God swung his chariot down near Eros, LA. to pick up one of his beloved children.

Landen James Garsee was born June 29, 2005, in West Monroe to Dennis and Dawn Garsee. Landen had the brightest smile and from the beginning to the end of his life on this earth touched every soul that he met.

Landen exemplified in his walk with God and longed to see Jesus. He was a member of Grace Apostolic Church in Eros, LA., and attended Apostolic Christian Training School in West Monroe, LA., He loved to worship and praise the Lord with his whole heart in every service he attended.

Landen was a member of Northeast Louisiana High School Anglers and Ouachita 4-H Archery Team.

He loved fishing and was an avid outdoorsman. He had developed a passion for duck hunting in recent years. Landen's bright smile, love for the Lord and people will continue to touch many lives for eternity.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Dawn Garsee; sister, Anna Elisabeth Garsee, and brother, Branden Garsee (all of Eros, LA.) Papa Dennis Garsee, Sr. and meme of Start, LA., Mawmaw Karen Eaton (papa Jamie) of Crowville, LA., papa Edward and Nana Wanda Carter of Eros, LA., uncle Shane Carter (aunt, Selena) uncle, Chad Carter (aunt, Annie) of West Monroe, LA., uncle, Ryan Carter (aunt, Stephanie) of West Monroe, LA., uncle, Jeffrey Garsee of Walker, LA., uncle, Austin (aunt, Patience) of Start, LA., aunt, Shannon Garsee of Crowville, LA., aunt, Amanda Colvin (uncle, Robert) of Rayville, LA., cousins, Nathan Carter, Seth Carter, Hagen Carter, Ava Morgan, Michael Slavant, Nicole Slavant, Jacob Garsee, Riley Garsee, Dalin Williams, Kiley McDougal, Special friend, Chase Jinks, of Eros, LA., girlfriend, Rachel Goldman of Stuttgart, Ar.; Also survived by numerous host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends from all over.

Pallbearers include Chase Jinks, Aiden Chambliss, Ivan Dycus, Alston Petrella, Caleb Lee, Hagen Carter, Nate Carter, and Seth Carter.

Honorary pallbearers are Branden Garsee, Josh Goldman, Michael Slavant, Jacob Garsee, and Riley Garsee.
