Lance was my friend, we we're separated by a bit of age, but that didn't change anything. He was always quick with a smile and a hello. He was hard working and always willing to help out. He may have lived the better half of his life in Wilmot, but he was a danburian thru and thru. I will miss him, and will always remember him.

I was always amazed by your dahlias. Now whenever I see one I will think of Lance and his smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Andrea, Robyn, Rhiannon & Family, My deepest sympathy of your loss of Lance, your husband & father who left us to soon. He loved his family unconditionally. Remember at this sorrowful time “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal”.
Three pictures of my brother Lance out of the many that I cherish. The black & white photo is of Lance in 1957 the very first year my parents took us to Arizona to live. He was almost a year old in this photo. He always loved cowboy hats. Oh yes he was a cutie! The second picture was at our parents place in Punkin Center, Arizona where he stayed when visiting. He loved the rustic living, the desert & the wild west. The third picture is of a field stone fireplace that he built for a homeowner in Sunapee, NH. It was 2 stories high ending at the top of a cathedral ceiling. Magnificent!
It was one of the many that Lance built with his talent as a stone mason. Lance always had a smile and a good word for everyone. He loss his brave battle with cancer but he will always be remembered as my baby brother and with much love.
Lance spent many weekends with his older brother, Terre and I when we were first married. One of my favorite memories was when we were discussing our first born child who was due soon. After some introspection Lance made the observation that if we had a girl that wasn’t too bad. One girl per litter was acceptable. His brother laughed so hard because Lance was deeply involved with 4 H at time and he equated everything with the animal world. They had a talk about the difference when they went fishing. We shared many many wonderful times. I will always cherish those memories. He and his brothers were gone too soon. ❤️❤️ Sandi Brownell
