Lamont 'Monty' McMullin,  loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather  passed the evening of September 13 surrounded by family after a long bout with illness.

     Lamont is preceded in death by his forever love and wife Patricia, his mother Jo,  stepdad Ross and father Louis. He is survived by his kids Dawn Brock (Steve), Kim Kotowski, Robin Gleason, and Rick Kotowski (Mary); 11 grandkids and 20 great grandkids.

    Lamont served as a specialist Aircraft Mechanic in the US army.  He served from 1962-1965 and is a Vietnam veteran. Over the course of his service he became an m14  expert and an m1 sharpshooter.  

   In the years since he was a carpenter, handyman, and gardener. He loved spending time with family, whether staying up late to play cards with his grandkids or going to get a bite to eat with family or just 'going crazy'.

    He loved fishing, and being out doors. Walking the beach with the  his dog Bear, metal detecting . He had a green thumb when it came to gardening. Loved woodworking and making things for family everything from tables to little wooden boxes for loved ones. He made friends everywhere he went, even if it was just the gas station to get his coffee, lottery tickets and cigarettes. Every one he came in contact with had the potential to be a new friend.

  Monty will be dearly missed by many and in our hearts forever.
