Obituary
Lakshmi Akhila Lakkamsani, age 26, passed away on October 29th at University of Chicago Hospital. She was born March 3rd, 1993, in Evanston, Il to Arvind and Davy Lakkamsani. Akhila graduated from Glenbrook North High School and got her Bachelors degree from National Louis University. Being an overachiever, Lakshmi was pursing her Master’s in Education.

Akhila’s dream was to become a High School teacher. Despite all of her health issues and hardships she never let it slow her down. She truly made the best of every situation through her positive attitude and amazing smile. Lakshmi loved spending time with her closest friends and family. She loves horror movies, Mulan, and a great steak. She was the sweetest, kindest, and the most sincere person in the world. She was the perfect daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, cousin and person.

Lakshmi is survived by her grandparents Dr. Rao & Ananthalaxmi Murukurthy, parents( Arvind and Davy), her siblings (Aditya, Anuhya and Abhiram) and her cousin (Chaitanya Prasad, Narayana, Kirin, Kavya, Liam, Jax, Juliana, and other cousins- Manish, Hanish Pradeep, Praveena, Alekhya, Amulya), and her uncles (Rama Krishna, Prasad, Murli, Kumar, Nadh and Rao).

Family, friends and others touched by Akhila are invited Saturday November 2nd at 11am. Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035. Everyone is welcome.
