La'Kayla's obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of La'Kayla "LA" Hancock, affectionately known as LA, who left this world too soon on January 31, 2024. Born on November 3, 1995, La'Kayla brought her warm and bubbly personality into the lives of everyone she met.

La'Kayla is survived by her loving mother, Anna Stillions, her devoted step-father, Rick Stillions, her caring brother, Jordan, her cherished grandparents, Chris and Steve Brower, and uncle, Corey Franklin, her beloved niece, Jade Franklin and loving extended family. She was predeceased by her beloved grandmother, Kathleen J. Robbins, and her great aunts, Sandra Peterson, and Patricia Emmons, and her great grandparents, Mrytle L. Clayton, and Chuck Williams.

An avid lover of seafood and chicken, La'Kayla had a zest for life that shone through in her interests. She loved the music of Kevin Gates and could be often found appreciating some Spongebob movies and was an aspired barber in styling her various haircut designs. She brought her competitive spirit to her love for sports and cooking and enjoyed the soothing rhythm of music as a leisure activity.

A lover of several vibrant colors of red, white, blue and purple. La'Kayla's favorite vacation spot was the sunny shores of Florida. One of her causes dear to her heart was advocating for dogs. A gesture that underlines her intrinsic kindness and love for animals.

One of her proudest moments was her high school graduation, a testament to her dedication and commitment. La'Kayla's legacy, however, transcends accomplishments. She will be remembered for her smile, laugh, and kindness, a virtue she embodied and practiced every day. Her loss is immeasurable, but so is the love and joy she left behind.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to "La'Kayla's Memorial". The memorial fund will act as a tribute to honor La'Kayla's memory and the life she so vibrantly led. Donations can be made through the website, https://everloved.com/life-of….

La'Kayla Hancock is gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. Her light will continue to shine in the lives of those she touched. She will be Forever Loved ~ Forever Missed.
