Ladell's obituary
She grew up in Waco, TX and spent most of her adult life in Raleigh, NC.
Ladell was preceded in death by her parents, JC Sowders and Margaret Louise Palich, her sister Shirley, as well as an infant great granddaughter, Karsynn Hopkins.
She was an avid baker, utilizing her creativity to provide cakes for many weddings, birthdays, and other special occasions. Although she loved her craft greatly, her greatest love was her family.
She is survived by her daughter Wesley Barrow-Meyers (Tommy), and son Jerry Hall Jr. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren who she adored. Chris Barrow (Mary Beth), Cameron Barrow, Cassie Kenna (Jon), Samantha Martin (Mike), Suzanne Barrow, Ryan Hall, Kennedy Hall, and Kendall Hall.
Also, Ladell was privileged to have 5 great grandchildren: Corey and Alexis Barrow-Meyers, Avery and Hudson Kenna, and Michael Martin Jr, as well as a special friend Jerry Hall, Sr.
No formal service was requested, but she will be returned to her home state of TX.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Cornerstone Hospice may be made.
