Lacy's obituary

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved Lacy Sanders. She was born on April 17, 2000, and was taken from us too soon on May 1, 2025. Her spirit, love, and kindness have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Lacy was a shining example of compassion and love. Her warmth and humor were felt by all around her. She was an amazing mother who loved her children unconditionally and left no box unchecked when it came to filling their lives with joy. She faced the hardships of being a young mother bravely, demonstrating an inner strength that inspired all those around her.

As a daughter, sister, wife, and friend, Lacy was the thread holding her family together. She is survived by her husband, Matthew Sanders, whom she married on December 3, 2022.

No words can truly encapsulate the love Lacy had for her children or the way she lit up when she talked about them. She leaves behind her brilliant son, Conner Jarrett, and her beautiful daughters, Alaska, Emori, and Willow Sanders.

She is also survived by her father and step-mother, Michael Jarrett and Renee Bloom; her younger sister, Faithlynn Jarrett; her mother, Michele Small, and her fiancée, Netasha Kremsner; her older brother, Cody Small; her grandmothers, Judy Gearhart and Eleanor Bloom.

Lacy is predeceased by her grandparents Edward and Marion Jarrett; Hank Gearhart; and Kenneth Bloom Sr.

Part of a large family, Lacy is greatly missed and loved by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Never one to shy away from hard work, Lacy consistently went above and beyond to provide for her family, always ensuring they knew just how much they were loved and cherished. She was always finding new ways to create memories with her children, whether it was ensuring every holiday they experienced felt magical, throwing a fun birthday party, or a trip to the beach where they'd splash in the water and play in the sand.

Professionally, Lacy was a dedicated worker who excelled at her job and in all areas that she put her mind to. She made many friends wherever she went, including work. Yet, her greatest accomplishment was building and nurturing a loving family. Her untimely departure leaves a void that can never be filled.

Lacy's life was a testament to the power of kindness, love, and determination. Her memory will live inside all of us. She may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
