How you can help
After battling numerous difficult health challenges and heartbreak from the loss of her son, Noel, who was her world in February 2020, our beloved Kyleah Bost gained her heavenly wings on Friday, January 20, 2023. Kyleah was a loving mother, daughter, life partner, grandmother, granddaughter, sister, cousin and friend to so many. Those who were blessed to know her would tell you she was one of the most caring, giving and beautiful souls who absolutely adored her family and would do anything for us. She was the primary caregiver of her 94 year old grandmother, who will now have to navigate the rest of her journey without her Kyleah, as well as a very integral part of her grandson's village with the loss of his father. Even beyond her family, Kyleah took pride in serving others. For the past decade she worked at the Evelyn Douglin Center compassionately caring for persons with disabilities at the Evelyn Douglin Center for Serving People In Need, in Brooklyn, NY. Kyleah was a light, a comedian always cracking jokes and putting a smile on folks faces and just an overall beautiful human. And even as she was going through her own health challenges, she was always positive...often keeping her pain to herself to protect those she loved who would worry about her.
Losing Kyleah has truly left a void in our lives and our hearts ache, but simultaneously we are so so Thankful that she is no longer suffering physically or emotionally and will now be comforted by the Father's loving arms.
As the family pushes through the grief, we want to give Kyleah the beautiful home going service she deserves. Unfortunately due to her numerous ailments and the inequitable health care and insurance systems she had to navigate, she was unable to qualify for life insurance, though she tried. The financial burden on the family is a bit heavy and so we ask if you have it in your heart to kindly be a blessing with a donation for Kyleah. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will support her funeral and home going services helping ease the burden as the family continues to grieve and process this loss. We thank you in advance for your generosity and ask you to keep our family lifted in prayer, especially her life partner Kevin, grandmother, grandson, sisters, brother, nieces and nephews.
