I considered Kurt a friend, valued colleague and a fellow duffer since meeting in 1978.  We shared many a good time telling stories while trying to survive 18 holes of golf, always sharing a libation or two somewhere in the process.  Many of those occasions were shared with his loving wife Helen by his side.  I will miss him, as will all of his friends, and send my sincere condolences to Helen and their entire family.
