Kurt's obituary
Kurt Konodi, born on October 27, 1962, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2023. A beloved father, son, brother, and husband, Kurt leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, kindness, and compassion. His departure has brought a profound sense of loss and he will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.
He is survived by his loving children and grandchildren; daughters Kristine Common, Kathleen Konodi, Keri Robey, and Karli Konodi and sons Kurt Jr Konodi and Kyle Konodi. Granddaughters Leila, Maya, Kooper, and Adeline and grandsons Keegen, Grayson, and Konnor. Kurt’s love for his children and grandchildren was palpable and he took tremendous pride in their achievements. His memory will forever live on through them.
He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Rebecca Konodi, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms on the other side. His revered parents, Kurt Konodi Flock and Barbara Konodi, as well as his brother Timothy Konodi, also preceded him in the journey to the next life. They remain ever-present in his heart and in the fondest memories of the family.
The loss of Kurt is immeasurable, but his strong character, unwavering positivity, and a kind heart have left lasting imprints that will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. His absence will indeed leave a void, but his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of his loved ones.
A Celebration of Life for Kurt will be held on September 16, 2023, at 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Creative Arts Center. It will be a time to honor his memory, share stories, and find comfort in the company of those who loved him dearly. The family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
