Background
My sister, Kristy was only 44 years young and unexpectedly passed away on June 26 leaving a whole in our hearts. Kristy never turned anyone away, would give the shirt off her back to a stranger and always offered smiles and conversations to those who seemed to be struggling. My sister was the youngest & smallest of four girls but her personality and heart were larger than her. Kristy had a gift of making everyone feel welcome, comfortable and loved. My sister’s life was by no means easy but she was an eternal optimist. My sister left four children without a mama and some months struggled to get all the bills paid so life insurance at 44 years old was not a priority.
