It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Kristy Murphy, an incredibly strong-willed, independent, kind-hearted woman, who was the life of any party. She was a loving mother and grandmother who passed away on January 7th, 2026.

Born on November 2, 1971, Kristy lived a vibrant and fulfilling life that always centered around her family. She will be deeply missed by her two sons, William and Brandon Murphy, her daughter, Laci Murphy, and her three precious grandchildren - Brandon Murphy, Adelyn Murphy, and Eden Murphy, and brother Raymond “Shannon” Lacy.

Kristy was a person who believed in the potency of love and cherished the memories she made with her family and friends. Her teachings revolved around the importance of love, compassion, and staying resilient, no matter the circumstances that life presented.

One of her most significant accomplishments, Kristy often stated, were her three children and her three grandchildren. They were her universe, and every achievement of theirs added a feather to her cap of pride. Her legacy is indelibly imprinted in each of their lives, shaping them to be tenacious, loving, and grace-filled individuals, just like her.

A mother's love knows no boundaries, and Kristy's was no exception. The love and warmth she provided as a mother and grandmother will forever be missed and cherished in the hearts of her children and grandchildren. Even as we mourn her loss today, we remember and celebrate a woman who lived her life to the fullest, loving fiercely and breathing life into every room she entered. Her spirit lives on in the lives of those she loved and cherished.
