Kristopher's obituary
Kristopher was a talented musician and had an unequivocal gift for writing. Kristopher was a loving, affectionate, protector of his siblings, Jack Barrett, 10, Mila Barrett, 9, and Reginald Phoenix, 5. He had a sweet, mellow disposition and could talk for hours with anyone. Kristopher had the unique ability of making those around him feel special and loved.
He moved from San Diego, CA to Palm Springs, CA in 2004, where he began elementary school at Desert Chapel Christian School. He spent his early teen years in San Diego, where he attended Grossmont High School, around which time he began writing lyrics. His talent as a musician, particularly in the rap genre, was recognized in Kansas City, MO in 2019 when he was offered a record deal from Universal Music Group and Bungalow Records. He and his music partner and best friend, Eric Dufao, first performed live in Downtown San Diego and began gaining clout in the Los Angeles music scene in 2019. Kristopher was deeply passionate, showing devotion to all that he loved; his music, his friends, and his family.
