We regret to announce the passing of Kristine Pointer. Born in 1975, Kristine was called from this life on May 2, 2025. She was a cherished daughter to Tom and Marilyn Pointer, and an adored sister to Karl Pointer. Her family was the epicenter of her universe, and she will be profoundly missed by them and the many lives she touched.

Kristine was a vivacious and warm-hearted individual who had a deep love for life and all its simple pleasures. Her interests were varied, but one could easily see a pattern of passion and loyalty in her favourite things. An avid Star Wars fan, Kristine was often seen at many events in her Star Wars gear. Her preference for purple was noticeable in her wardrobe and home decor. She had a fondness for the immersive game, Second Life, where she found a vast community of friends and creative outlets.

Among Kristine's many causes that she strongly cared about, her dogs held a special place in her heart. She was a devoted pet parent who believed in the importance of animal welfare. Her love for her dogs was testimony to her nurturing spirit and immense capacity for love.

Kristine was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew her. Her zeal for life, combined with her contagious laughter and never-ending positivity, made her the kind of person people were drawn to. She will be remembered not just for these things, but for her kind heart and the sweetness of her soul. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation as her mom and sister-in-law are both breast cancer survivors.
