Personal note from Family and friends of Kristine

Kristine was many things. A leader in her field, a pioneer for female engineers and executives, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a colleague and so much more to the many that were lucky enough to know her. Thank you to everyone who contributed to Kristine's memorial through Ever Loved. It is thanks to your generosity and support that we were able to give Kristine a fitting tribute inside the Atlanta Botanical Garden. A teak swinging bench, with an inscription, has been placed in the garden at the Alston Overlook in her honor. The gardens were a place Kristine and her family visited often and made countless family memories in. Now it is a place we can all go to enjoy the beauty and remember this wonderful woman. Thank you again for making this possible.

I am working on getting pictures of the bench, inscription, and view posted on her blog. Please visit http://www.themammogrammemo.c… over the next few days for updates.

Update from Oct. 25, 2022

Dear Friends and Family,

Three years ago today, we lost a bright light in our lives. Kristine was so many things to so many people. She was a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a trusted friend, a reliable coworker, a powerful leader, a supportive mentor, and infinity more. A friendship with Kristine meant a life with a little more color, humor, style and support. For those of us who had the privilege to know Kristine, we know she would have liked us to use all of our energy for something she would have considered to be productive. So, without further ado, it brings us great pride to officially announce the launch of The Kristine Pettoni Foundation!

WE ARE LIVE!
The Kristine Pettoni Foundation is an Atlanta based, nonprofit, tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to empower working women by advancing gender equality in the workplace and promoting independence through education, mentoring and financial assistance.

Here's how you can help:
1. Check out our website www.KPFwoman.org to learn more about us and what we have been up to.
2. Donate! Keep in mind, we are currently a 100% volunteer organization so any donations will go directly to the organization and help us develop and fund our social programs.
3. Help us spread the news. Share your contacts and forward this email on to others who knew Kristine or would be interested in our cause, so we can grow our outreach list.
