Kris Hampton from a very young age taught me fun, truth, trust, Love. As we aged and life seemed unbearable she taught me how to stay in the moment because of her pain. She amazed me being so strong.
She enjoyed tea and the newspaper in the morning. She would do the whole puzzle just like her dad John. Her dad would take us to the movies and pick us up. I have a daily diary to go through for everyone. I'm sure a lot of laughter to share.
We met around 1965 when our parents would tell us to go outside to play.. The neighborhood kids went to Kris's house and her mama gave us all a popsicle. Barbara who later let me call her mom. Kris would always stand up for me when I was getting yelled at. Haha, my first time waitressing. Kris is someone who would look for the positive in people and going on. She always makes me laugh. She is a bright and shiny light now, very much alive. Our friendship is on going for ever. I am so very blessed to have Kris as my lifelong friend here. Her family too. I have so many memories and pictures I will share...
