Kristina Welden, 26, of Woodstock, Connecticut, passed on June 27, 2021. Kristina was born on March 03, 1995. She passed away surronded by her family, which included her parents Eliza and Carlos Mendona, her eight siblings, grandparents, multiple aunts,uncles, and cousins. Most importantly her daughter Krisely and the love of her life her husband Michael. The death of Krissy will not only effect her family but will effect everyone that she has met. With a beautiful heart and an outstanding personality she lit up any room she entered. She was the type of person that never wanted anyone to be sad so she fought long and hard so that the ones she loved weren’t in pain. She was brave even with everything going on she managed to look on the bright side of things all the time. Even if it was just getting excited about eating, oh did she love her cookies at the hospital but she loved to share them more. Always asking visitors or even the nurses. Or just dancing around because she could never sit still, these are the memories that I’ll hold closest to my heart. At just the age of 26 she lived a life some people only dreamed of she was spontaneous and exciting, never a dull moment. She wouldn’t want us to be sad but to look at the life she lived and remember to live ours to the fullest and laugh a little harder with her in our thoughts. Her smile lives on in all of our memories but not only that, she will live on through her beautiful daughter. Who looks so much like her in every way possible, who she raised to be the sweetest little girl. She was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, granddaughter, friend, and wife who will be missed so much. This is not a goodbye but a see you later. Her funeral details will be released at a later date.
