I got the pleasure to be this amazing woman’s caregiver & friend for a short time, & let me tell you! Kristina really brightened my day. She was my only patient that i purposely slowly took a lot more of my time with & it didnt bother me how long i ended up being with her each day i saw her, her care was so different & unique.  I enjoyed caring for her, it was more like hanging out & chatting while getting stuff done(; Even tho i wasn’t that great at lip reading, i do think she helped me get a lot better at it over time & she was the perfect person to learn how to lip read with! She was so patient & even when i said something completely different than what she mouthed, she would smile & try again or grab her phone & write it out for me. I dont know how she was always so humble & patient with me. Although it was a little tricky, i loved helping her wash her hair in the little portable blow up tub & getting to help scrunch her curly hair after, how i would do mine & she loved it🥰 

When i told her i was leaving Canyon for a job out of state, she ended up getting me my favorite chocolates & wrote a sweet meaningful card to me the next time i came to her home, (even tho i insisted on her not to get me anything & just a hug & her smile was enough for me) she still did such a sweet gesture. 

Kristina is such a beautiful selfless soul inside & out! She is the best example for living life optimistically in not so ideal circumstances. She’s so inspiring, & she helped me look at life differently & be more grateful for the little things in life🥰 I feel very blessed & lucky to have met Kristina & the rest of her sweet loved ones🤍🕊️🦋 The love i got to witness between Kristina & Lance was so genuine, pure & memorable, i hope to find that in my future spouse one day💛Praying for this wonderful family🤗🙏🏽Love you guys!!

Kris is the most incredible woman I’ve ever known! She was smart, brave, talented, inspiring, gracious, loving, giving and absolutely hilarious! I could go on for days about her… she was my very best friend, my choppy sister, the K in my T, my Travelin Feet Partner in crime. We had an absolute blast together! What a gift and blessing to have her in my life since we were teenagers! Words cannot express the love and gratitude I have for her and how I will miss her every day. Lance is a hero for the amazing way he loved and cared for her, and her children are soldiers and also cared for their mother with love and grace. What an amazing family! I love you all so much! Thank you for blessing my life and for sharing Kris with me ❤️❤️
