Kristina's obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Kristina Fonfara. Born on December 7, 1971, she sadly left us on August 11, 2020. A woman of warmth, generosity, and a unique sense of humor, Kristina will be forever missed.
Kristina is survived by her loving family: her mother, Charlotte Ann Fonfara; her children, Haley Marie Lyles and Nathanyal Christopher Fonfara; her sisters, Ann Marie Fonfara and Catherine Noelle Fonfara; and her beloved nieces, Charlotte Rose Fonfara-LaRose and Noelle A. Fonfara. She was predeceased by her father, Edward W. Fonfara, her grandmother, Frances "TuTu" Simcox, her grandparents, Edward and Agnes Fonfara, and her grandfather, Colonel Lawrence S. Simcox, along with many aunts and uncles, who adored her.
Kristina was mother to two beautiful children, an accomplishment she considered as her greatest and proudest. Her enduring love and devotion to Haley and Nate will forever remain her most cherished legacy.
Known for her caring personality, Kristina found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a particular fondness for McDonald's Cokes, and her musical taste leaned towards Prince, R&B and Reggae, with Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds" being one of her favorites. A fan of the TV show King of Queens, her laughter was a common sound during family gatherings. Her favorite recreational activities included enjoying time with family and friends, and vacationing at the beach.
Kristina was passionate about her family and had a soft spot for pandas. Her kind and forgiving spirit was an inspiration to all who knew her, and she often shared the importance of these virtues with others.
In memory of Kristina, we ask for kindness and forgiveness to be extended to all. Her warmth and love will continue to resonate through her children and those whose lives she touched. Forever in our hearts, always missed, Kristina's spirit will continue to live on.
