Background
We created this fundraiser after losing my mother this morning. My mother had no life insurance policy. Nor did she have any savings or assets. She passed this morning, 1/8/2022 after a few year period of ups and downs with her health. We don’t have adequate savings to be able to afford paying for the funeral, any donations would be helpful in paying for her cremation and memorial service as well as her end of life hospice care that isn’t covered. We just lost our father in the spring of last year and while he didn’t have life insurance either at least he had some savings to offset the cost of his cremation and memorial service, but knowing how much that cost has me worried about being able to afford a proper sendoff in celebrating the life my mother had.
