I think about Aunt Kristin often; she was one in a million. So many of my favorite memories are of her; she was so full of life - beautiful, brilliant and a whole lot of endless fun.  I remember looking forward to spending the night at her house when I was a kid.  There was never bedtime but endless relaxing days laying at the pool, me in my one piece and Kristin in her bikini, lathered up in baby oil, sleeping in the lounge chairs in the hot summer sun.  I remember getting to walk around the house holding her cat and watching Johnny Carson late into the night.  There were many firsts with Kristin - my first trip to Florida, my first time drinking Coke (dyed green at an outdoor sports bar in Fort Lauderdale on St. Patrick's day), my first ride in a sports car, and my first bikini she bought me when I was 7 yrs old - so embarrassing!  With Kristin you always felt like you were with someone fun, young and constantly having a party.   I miss her very much and thought about her often yesterday, as I am sure her family did. There are hundreds of more memories she has left me with, memories of her and Tom dating, dancing at her wedding, Christmas in grandmother's kitchen talking, her bird and dogs running around the house, taking care of grandmother with a smile on her face, visiting my mother, talking on the phone about Meredith and the kids and Lola, etc.. She touched everyone around her in such a magical way, leaving us all with the best memories ever.
