Kristin Joy Andrejcak, 52, of Newark, passed away on Thursday morning, April 23, 2026, due to a medical emergency.

Kristin was born in Edison New Jersey on December 31, 1973, a daughter of Kenneth and Joan (Safchinsky) Smith. She was educated at Woodbridge Vocational and Technical high school in Woodbridge New Jersey.

Kristin was a member of Our Lady Of Peace Church in Edison as well as Life Church in Reading Pennsylvania. She enjoyed movies, photography and enjoyed being a “Gypsy”.

Kristin had a huge heart. She loved everyone she ever met, she was loved. She treated everyone as family, she was the type of person to give you the shirt off her back, even if she didn’t have one to replace it with.

Preceding her in death in addition to her Father Kenneth, was her Sister Jaqueline (Jackie) Grandparents Michael and Anne Safchinsky.

Surviving is her mother Joan, of Leesport Pennsylvania. Kids, Jerry and his wife Valerie, of Henryville Pennsylvania. Alexis, of Edison. Grandchildren, Aubrey Rose and Anthony Robert. Her brother, Timothy (Timmy) and his wife Christina (Chrissy) of Leesport Pennsylvania. Nieces, Lacie, Jewels, Payton, Lilly, Fiona and Gabriella (Gabby). Great niece Layla. Nephew Liam and great nephew, Elijah. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

A private cremation service will be held on Thursday, May 7th, 2026 for close family.

A memorial service will be held May 23rd at 2:00. Lutheran church of our Savior: 675 Belmont Ave Mount Pocono PA 18344.
