After a difficult battle with Lung cancer, Kristie Lou Patterson passed away peacefully on October 20, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones in her home.

Born in Munich, Germany to Ed and Dawn Patterson, Kristie was described as a bundle of joy and laughter. Kristie was passionate about service from a very young age, from helping her dad during his budding political career to the day she could enlist in the Army. Kristie spent many years in the army and showed “a consistent pattern of superior performance throughout her assignment here” according to one of her chief warrant officers. As her military career drew to an end her next career was on the horizon.

Kristie was a fiercely dedicated mother, raising three equally amazing children. Kristie was their biggest cheerleader and constant supporter. She was the foundation of the family and they would not be where they are today without her patience (lots of it), wisdom, guidance and above all unwavering LOVE. Kristie was predeceased by her father Ed Patterson and Stepfather John Malik. She leaves behind her mother, Dawn; siblings, Jeff and Linda; children, Anthony, Charlie and Jordan.

Kristie’s Celebration of Life will be held at the Wilsonville Holiday Inn on January 21, 2023, at 1pm. If you would like to show your condolences Kristie has asked; in lieu of flowers, she would like potted plants. Her wish is to have a garden planted in her honor.
