In loving memory of our mother, Kristi Fortney, who passed away in Springfield, Missouri on October 07, 2022 . She was the devoted wife of Robert Fortney and loving mother of Kenny and Wayne Rounds. She was also the loving sister of Wilhelmina Anderson (Wisconsin) , Carol Nelson (Missouri), and Kathryn Marks (Nebraska). She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family and friends before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Our mother helped guide my brother and I to become the fathers and husbands we are today.  We are forever grateful that we were able to call her MOM. You will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
