Kristen's obituary

Kristen Danielle Keller, who was born on March 9th, 1989 in La Jolla California and passed away on March 29th, 2025 at age 36. She is dearly missed by her partner, Carlos Cesareo, her fur daughter Camo (aka Lieutenant Meow) friends and family. She was predeceased by her mother, Debora Keller.

Kristen graduated from La Jolla High School in 2007 and furthered her education at San Diego State University, graduating with a BA in Communication in 2010. She was a hard worker, proving her mettle in the business world by starting her Nuskin venture in 2018. Her dedication and hard work paid off, as she reached the Blue Diamond Pin title in 2022, placing her in the top 3% of Nuskin.

Through her business, Kristen had the privilege of traveling to various exotic locations. Her all-expenses-paid trips spanned the globe from Paris to Punta Cana, from Montego Bay to Cancun, and including multiple trips to Hawaii. She lived in various places such as La Jolla, Ocean Beach, South Lake Tahoe, San Diego, Naples Florida, and  finally setting her roots in Pacific Beach, California.

Her love for life was evident in her diverse interests. She was a fan of the San Diego Padres and loved a variety of foods, ranging from Mexican to Italian, Greek to Thai, with a special fondness for sushi and Rubio's. Her favorite drink… a huge jug of ice-cold water with lots of ice or unsweetened ice tea.

Kristen enjoyed staying active through hiking, dancing, bike riding, yoga, paddleboarding, and evening walks along the Bay. She relished recreational activities like road trips to the mountains, hiking, and camping. Combining her love for crafting with her business acumen, she created wearables for her friends and family with her Cricut machine.

Among the stars of the silver screen, her favorites included Bohemian Rhapsody, Peter Pan, The Lion King, Pitch Perfect, Dirty Dancing (Havana Nights), Pretty Woman, and Freaky Friday, among others. When it came to television, she loved to watch The Big Bang Theory, Law & Order, Schitt’s Creek, How I met your Mother, and New Girl, to name a few.

Kristen’s vivacious personality will always be remembered. She was described as loving, caring, bubbly, outgoing, a leader, polite, outspoken, respectful, and responsible.

Her loved ones are heartbroken to lose such an incredible woman. Kristen’s legacy is one of a woman who inspired and empowered all those who knew her.

Her passing was unexpected and devastating.

One of Kristen’s favorite quotes…

“Life is too short to not smile” - - Kristen Keller

And to remind us of such …

As she took her last breath she left this world with a beautiful smile.

She had the biggest heart and will be missed, remembered, and loved forever.

"If you choose love, you'll never be wrong! Nothing will stop me from continuing to do my best to lead & hopefully inspire future generations & those around me in a positive, confident, and beautiful way!                               Let's make a promise to ourselves! One INTENTIONAL foot in front of the other! OK?  Who's with me?!"- - Kristen Keller (January 20, 2025)

A celebration of Kristen's life will be held on September 13th, 2025 at 5PM at 1001 Santa Clara Pl San Diego, CA 92109. We will gather to remember a life well-lived, to share stories of her journeys, and to recall memories that bring joy and laughter.
