Krista Ashley Browning of Indianapolis, IN, died on October 8, 2024. Born on April 26, 1984, Krista was known for her love of animals and compassionate spirit. Krista attended Burkart Elementary School and Southport High School, she also attended online at St Andrew Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Krista is survived by her son, Corey Bryant and daughter, Kaiya Browning; siblings, Blaise Shields, Lilli Shields, and Erika Tindal; mother, Kathy Shields; father, Jim Shields; her uncle, Douglas Bryant. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Kay Bryant; Warren Thompson; and her uncle, Eddie Bryant. The date and time of a memorial service for Krista is not yet set. 

Friends and loved ones are invited to donate to Riley Children's Hospital in her name.

Krista would want everyone to know Jesus and that there is always hope in life. 

Titus 3:3-7,  At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.

Luke 6:35-36,  But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
