Kori's obituary
Kori Jo Perry, age 61, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025, after suffering a catastrophic stroke, surrounded by the love of her family. Though her time here ended far too soon, Kori leaves behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and wholehearted generosity that will continue to live on in everyone who knew her.
Kori made a huge impact throughout her life to many. She opened her heart and home through foster care, offering safety, stability, and unconditional love to children who needed it most. She also worked as a manager for Dunkin Donuts on Hogan Road where she made customers feel like they were at home and provided exceptional customer service. Many of her customers were still reaching out due to the bonds that were created during that time. Kori had a remarkable way of showing up for others in times of celebration and in times of hardship. People were naturally drawn to her warmth, her beautiful smile, and her gift for making people feel seen and supported.
To many, Kori was a source of friendship, guidance, and comfort. She brightened days without trying, and her presence had a way of making the world feel a little lighter. Her kindness reached far beyond her family; it touched countless lives in ways that will never be forgotten. Her loss is felt deeply, and she will be missed intensely by all who loved her. The grief is great, but so is the love she leaves behind.
Kori was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, her aunt Lorrene, and her uncle Doran. She is survived by her oldest brother & his wife Kalvin & Brenda and their children, her little sister & husband Kimberli & Blaine and their children, and little brother Kurt and his children, her daughter & son-in-law Kayla and Taylor, 8 grandchildren Tristen, Isabella, Keeten, Kairi, Lyric, Legend, Ryder, and Journey, and many friends, all of whom she adored.
