Claire,
Konnor and I connected through MIB Agent’s Ambassador Agent program a few months ago. We shared the connection of (of course) Osteosarcoma as well as I live in Ithaca. I was able to talk with Konnor on the phone and heard a fraction of his story. I have been thinking about him a lot, and saw the devastating news recently.
I am honored to have gotten to know a fraction of who Konnor was. He sounded so smart, bright, and above all else strong. On behalf of myself and MIB Agents, we share our condolences. We fight for better treatments and outcomes for Osteosarcoma in hopes of no one having to go through what Konnor went through.
Sending all the love,
Kara Skrubis

I have such lovely memories of Konner during our time together at Sage Ridge. He was a truly incredible kid, the kind of student who made it fun for me to be his teacher, the kind of person who made me excited about his future in the world. It wasn't just that he was talented and enjoyed learning; it was the integrity, earnestness, respect, and kindness that he brought to everything he did. Thinking back on the time I shared with Konner and reading the beautiful account of his life in the RGJ, I am filled with appreciation and admiration for how dedicated he was to his goals and to the people in his life. I send my deepest condolences to his loved ones; I am so sorry for your loss.

I am writing to extend my heartfelt condolences to Konner's family and friends. I had the privilege of working with Konner last spring when he served as a teaching assistant for my undergraduate human rights course. In our semester together, he had such a powerfully positive impact on our students, our teaching team, and me. In all that he did, he was brilliant, thoughtful, hopeful, and generous. He treated everyone around him with tremendous respect and kindness, and he had an incredible ability to see and bring out the best in others. Our world is greatly diminished by Konner’s passing. It also is infinitely better and brighter because of the life he lived and who he was. I am sending deepest sympathy and wishing you comfort and peace.

I send all my deepest condolences to Konner's family and loved ones. I had the real pleasure of teaching Konner at Cornell in two classes, including constitutional law. He was a brilliant student. But beyond that, Konner exuded such kindness and decency. He truly embodied the very best in what a life of service to others could be. I feel incredibly proud to have had the chance to interact with him in and out of the classroom. His example made such a mark in our law school community and I know it will continue to inspire others -- as it inspires me.

I have been thinking of how much Konner accomplished in his 28 years of life and thinking of how much he would have done if his life wasn’t cut short. A truly incredible young man!

I'm so grateful for the opportunity to work with Konner while at the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada. We teamed up for a year to raise funds for the Village on Sage Street and the Northern Nevada Endowment. I appreciated his curiosity, commitment, energy, and intelligence. He lived his life with passion, and he cared about the well-being of others. He brought so much light and love into the world. He will be deeply missed.

My heart is broken for you, Claire, also Tera, Kent and Tonya.💔 I’m so sorry I can’t attend KONNER’S Memorial service. I just returned from being out west and came back here with a severe cold. I knew Konner while he was in utero! Kent kept me up-to-date with all the latest news with the future babies! Konner always had a special place in my heart, he was so loving and never failed to give me such big smiles as a baby. My son Stephen, Jr. was so impressed with Konner as they were working on Konner becoming a Free Mason. Stephen is also devastated over the loss of such an incredibly intelligent, caring and concerned cousin. He knows the world lost a very impressive future leader. I don’t have addresses for you or Kent to send cards to. I’d appreciate it if you could send me the information when you come up for air. I know Konner is with you every step you take and with you now and for eternity. ❤️

I am totally devastated by this news. What a tremendous loss, for Claire, his family, and his friends, but also for the countless others that I am certain he would have helped in his legal career. I supervised Konner’s legal internship this past spring and hope that I, or at least tried to, serve as some kind of a mentor, and it was such a privilege to do so. Konner was incredibly smart and tenacious and hardworking, but, for me at least, his most important qualities were his moral compass, his deep empathy for others, and his passion for helping to improve our health care system and people’s access to it. We shared that in common, and it fostered a quick and real connection. I told him he would be my first hire as an associate at my new law firm and he really would have been.
I cannot even imagine the pain of this loss for his family, and all I can do is hope that this provides even the smallest of comforts— I deeply believed in Konner and in his promise, and I weep for all that he will not be able to do, but hope that you are able to find some small comfort in the real and meaningful impact that he made in his all too short time.
In Judaism we say, let his memory be a blessing, which I interpret to mean the hope that thoughts of him will bring some measure of peace to his loved ones. That is all I can hope for you during this unfathomable time. I will always remember Konner, and all I can really say or do is continue to try to do the legal work that he would be proud of too.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was very saddened to hear this news. Konnor joined the Pollock Cohen firm for his internship and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He showed a real enthusiasm and curiosity for the law, a passion for using it to serve others, and dedication and intellectual commitment in his work. He was also a kind and pleasant person to be around.
May his memory be a blessing.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Konner's passing, it is hard to process. Konner was one of a kind, a very special soul. I helped him when he was a graduate student at Stanford studying Public Policy. We had many wonderful conversations and he was so friendly, polite, and a fantastic student. Before taking my daughter on a college visit to UNR I talked to Konner and he gave me ideas of some places to go in Reno, I never forgot his kindness. Such a simple thing, but that was the kind of person he was. My sincere sympathy to his new wife and family, my heart goes out to you all.

Sending so much love to all of Konner's family and friends. So deeply saddened to learn about Konner's passing. Though I did not have a privilege of knowing him personally, it is so clear that he was such an incredible and unique human being-- one who was so cherished, beloved, and special. His mother, Tonya is one of the most generous, kindhearted and loving people I have known.
During this difficult time my thoughts are with you all. May you find strength and peace in the loving memories you shared.
My sincerest condolences and sympathies to all of the people Konner impacted.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Beth
