Kokila's obituary
It is with deepest sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kokila Shah on December 17, 2024. Born on July 7, 1950, Kokila lived a life filled with the warmth of her bubbly personality, the infectious charm of her smile, and her inexhaustible kindness which she loved to share with those around her.
A dedicated attendee at the Hindu Jain Temple, Kokila was a pillar of her community and an embodiment of her faith. She loved spending her free time immersed in episodes of her favorite TV show, 'Three's Company', and playing card games with family and friends. However, the joy she derived from these pursuits was only surpassed by the time she spent playing with her precious granddaughter, Arya.
A passionate cook, Kokila enjoyed the simple pleasure of feeding her loved ones. She was known for her spectacular culinary skills which were a testament to her love for making others happy. An active woman, she also regularly hit the gym for exercise. She loved traveling and exploring new cultures, with Italy and Hawaii among her favorite vacation destinations.
Kokila was a staunch advocate for Animal Rights. She believed strongly in the compassionate treatment of all living creatures, and worked tirelessly for the causes she believed in. Kokila's generosity continued into her passing, with funds being raised for "Luvin Arms", a charity very close to her heart. Contributions can be made via this link: https://everloved.com/life-of….
