Kody Paul "Poncho" Ponthieux, of Palm Bay, FL, passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2023. He was only 30 years old. Our family is devastated and shocked by this loss. Kody was born on September 15, 1992 in Pineville, Louisiana. He is survived by his daughter Lillian and her mother Leah, his mother Randie Escobar (Adam), his siblings Ashlee Walko (Joe) and Daniel Parker (Katelyn) as well as his niece and nephews. 

Kody attended NBHS in Shepherdsville. Ky. He worked different odd jobs, enjoying the variety of life and the challenges of learning new things. Kody became quite the talented cook and enjoyed honing his skills. He was employed at Palm Bay Hospital at the time of his passing. Kody was a lover of music and an avid sports fan with his favorite athletic organizations being UFC/MMA, the Atlanta Braves, LSU Tigers, New Orlean Saints and the Louisville Cardinals. He had a soft and sweet smile that would instantly make you feel at ease.  His gentle spirit was evident to all and he would help anyone who needed assistance. Kody was like a breath of fresh air to be around and he had a personality to match. Cremation was chosen and a private beach side memorial and celebration of Kody's life was held by his family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be sent to his sister Ashlee via Venmo @Ashlee-Walko. Any donations received will be used to further his daughter's education. The family appreciates all the love and support from family and friends at this difficult time.
