K'Johnathan's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of K'Johnathan "KJ" Wright, who left us on April 22, 2023. Born on February 1, 1993, KJ was a caring, compassionate, and incredibly funny individual who always put others before himself. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing him.
K'Johnathan is survived by his mother, Teresa Wright, his brother, Trell Wright, and sister, Shaniqua Po. They will forever cherish the memories they shared and carry KJ's unwavering love and strength with them.
Having graduated high school in Everman, Texas in 2013, KJ was proud of the fact that he had done so without going to jail, which he considered one of his greatest accomplishments. K'Johnathan had a fierce love for life, reflected in his various interests and hobbies. He enjoyed home-cooked meals, sipping on tequila, reading fiction, and working out. A passionate fan of Tupac, KJ also loved watching sports and old school movies, especially Menace to Society.
As someone who valued spending quality time with his loved ones, K'Johnathan appreciated visiting Florida's vacation spots, as well as various amusement parks. He was known for his kindness and generosity, as well as his ability to lighten up any situation with his humor. KJ's favorite color was green and he always encouraged others to be nice.
K'Johnathan's legacy of kindness and generosity will live on in the hearts and minds of those he leaves behind. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the life he lived and the impact he had on those around him. We love you, KJ, and can't wait to see you again.
