Kiya Richards, 20, of Coral Springs, FL, passed away on August 12, 2022 after a terrible car accident. 

Kiya was born on October 11, 2001 to Phyllis Richards in Forestville, MD. After graduating from North Point High School in 2020, she went on to study nursing at Nova Southeastern in order to become a travel nurse. After graduation, she landed her first job as a labor and delivery nurse for Northwest Hospital.

In 2022. When Kiya had Ezekiel, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Kiya excelled at propping up  her family and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others.

Kiya was a passionate mother and nurse and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her happy place at the beach relaxing. We will miss her greatly. There will be a memorial on August 18 at 6:00pm at Fort Lauderdale beach.
