Kirsten Inez Kirkness, 51 , of Virginia City NV,  passed away on July 19th , 2024 ,  at her home in the Virginia City Highlands.

Kirsten was born and raised in Fallon, Nevada, graduating from Churchill County High School in 1991.  She brought immense love and joy to all she met and interacted with in the community.  After moving to the Virginia City Highlands in 2007, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis while bearing child. She spent most of her time managing the office of KB Drilling and caring for her family and home.  She loved playing in her garden and collecting treasures from around Virginia City, taking  care of her cats and dogs . Her smile and laugh brightened every room . She fought long and hard with her MS and endured so much pain, eventually succumbing to the disease.

She is survived by her husband Charles Kirkness and daughter Josslyn Kirkness as well as her sister Jessie Fain and mother Carol Seitzinger. She is preceded in death by  father Thomas Seitzinger.

A Celebration of life is planned for August 9th, 2024 from 11am- 4 pm at  Gold Dust West in Carson City , NV.
