Kingsley's obituary
We honor and remember the life of Kingsley "Key, King, King Ding" Mcallister. A cherished companion born on June 4th, 2022, tragically taken from us too soon on May 8th, 2023.
Known to many as Key, King or King Ding, he always responded with affection to the name Kingsley. He found joy in the simplest of things. His favorite foods were anything human, but his heart was particularly set on steak. The thrill of a cold water after running around in the yard was a joy to behold.
Kingsley had a special love for Morgan Wallen's music and could often be found calmly listening alongside his favorite person. A shared love for the sitcom 'Friends' often caused many a chuckle and relaxed evenings on the couch. While he was present for the viewing of numerous movies, it was the mutual company he cherished most.
Never one to shy away from a playful challenge, Kingsley loved games like fetch and tug-of-war. He was always up for a friendly competition and recently mastered the art of catching a frisbee mid-air, a monumental feat that was celebrated with immense joy. His favorite local spot, our yard, was his personal playground where he could run around and play frisbee, showcasing his exuberant energy.
Despite his playful nature, Kingsley was the epitome of calmness and non-aggression. His personality was a beacon of love that touched everyone he met. Kingsley was one to love unconditionally, a testament to his beautiful heart. His favorite color, a green camo, was a shade he wore with pride and looked profoundly handsome in.
Kingsley's favorite vacations were simple, often taking joy in visiting the local dog park or our neighbor's yard to play with his friend. He was a testament to the fact that happiness is not about where you are, but who you are with.
His life was a testament to his loving nature. Kingsley taught us to never take our loved ones for granted, and always cherish the moments we have with them. His departure is a heartbreaking reminder of this lesson. His legacy will endure in the hearts of all who knew him. Kingsley may no longer be with us physically, but his spirit is deeply woven into our lives.
We remember Kingsley for the love he brought into our lives, for his playful demeanor, and for his undying loyalty. His memory is a gentle reminder that love is eternal, and his spirit continues to guide and comfort those grieving his loss. Kingsley's life, though brief, was full of love and happiness that will forever be cherished.
