Kimica Caracoles, née Kim Lynette Dombrowski, passed away on December 13, 2019 at the age of 44.

She is survived by her mother, Georgia C. Dombrowski; father, David L. Dombrowski; sister, Kristine Pelkey [Shad Bosmans]; and brother, Kenneth Dombrowski [Melissa Barberia]. Kimmie will also be forever remembered by her niece, Mariah Pelkey; nephews, Nicholas, Nathan and Ethan Pelkey; Aunt and Uncle, James and Kay Dombrowski; cousin, Lisa Williamson [Mark Williamson] and their children.

Kimmie was a gregarious, fun-loving person who had many friends all over the world that will miss her dearly. She grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin and graduated from Appleton East High School. After high school she traveled to various places across the United States including New York, Florida, Alaska and Texas. Life has taken her to many beautiful places including Fiji, Bali, Thailand, Tahiti, the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Australia, Canada and Mexico. She ended up settling in the Los Angeles, California area for the past 25 years, and spent time living in Kona, Hawaii.

Kimmie had many varying work experiences, including welder, model, spokesperson, surgical assistant, real estate and office manager. She graduated with honors in 2016 from Allan Hancock College with certificates in Welding Technology, Pipe Welding, and Metal Fabrication. She was an accomplished welder and made wonderful gifts for her family and friends. Most recently, she worked as a welder at Helical Products Company, Inc. in Santa Maria, California.

A memorial service will be held at Appleton Highland Memorial Park, 3131 N. Richmond St., Appleton, WI, on Saturday, 9th of February, 2019, from 9 a.m. to noon.
