Kimberly Cheryl Wertz, a beloved wife and mother, left this earth after a brief, but difficult battle with Lung Cancer. A fighter until the end, she passed away on September 23, 2023 at the age of 62. Kimberly was born in Port Alleghany, PA on December 18, 1960 to Robert and Phyllis (Johnson) Cornelius. She attended and graduated from Port Alleghany High School.

Kimberly moved to York, PA in 1985. She married Joshua Wertz on August 17, 2012, and moved to Watford City, ND shortly after. Kim leaves behind 4 children Jennifer Seger 39 of Albuquerque NM, Phylicia Manning 37 of Manchester, PA, Curtis Wintermyer 30 of Hellam PA, Renee Seger 26 of Roulette, PA and Amy Moody 49 of Manchester, PA. Among them, there are a total of 18 grandchildren.

Kim is also survived by her mother Phyllis Bonneau, sisters Sherry Page, Susan Corah and Rebecca Sena, brothers Randy Cornelius and Christopher Bonneau, father of her children Richard Seger and dozens of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Robert L Cornelius, sister Patricia Weimer and stepfather Theodore Bonneau.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Kim's family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. Kim requested a cremation and that we scatter her ashes in one of her favorite spots, Potter County, PA on a date yet to be determined
