Kimberly Vargas, 62, of Midland, Michigan, passed away at MyMichigan Hospital. Born on November 21, 1961, to Sandra Kay (Mendoza) and Richard Edward Vargas, who both preceded her in death, Kimberly is survived by her daughter, Rachel (Andy) Austin of Grand Rapids.

Kim will be remembered for her passion for cooking, especially her renowned Mexican dishes, and her deep love for animals. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Donations in her memory can be made to the ASPCA or MyMichigan Medical Center.
