Kimberly Rose Allen, age 30, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was born on July 29, 1993, the daughter of Lacy Allen and LaDonna (Roberts) Allen. After graduating high school, Kimberly lived a free-spirited life. She loved to laugh and was always quick to make others laugh. She had a talent for singing and dancing and love to entertain. Kim enjoyed movies, especially the comedies, and would quote dialogue from movies flawlessly, usually in the original actors’ voice. Kim also enjoyed sports and was a talented gymnast. She played softball, basketball, and volleyball for fun. She loved spending time at the beach. Kim developed a love for reading and read many books. She thoroughly enjoyed reading all 16 books in the “Left Behind” series. She also enjoyed reading her Bible and often quoted its scripture, especially the words in red. She talked about her love for the Lord and her belief in heaven after death. Kimberly enjoyed spending time with her family and had unwavering love for them. She also had many friends who she enjoyed spending time with.

Kimberly is survived by her parents, Lacy and LaDonna; sister, Stephanie (George) Vaughn; brother, Zachary (Allyson) Allen; nieces: Emeline Allen, Lyla Allen, Melody Allen, and Lacy Vaughn; nephews, Georgie Vaughn and Levi Vaughn; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Vickers Springport Funeral Home, 121 Pearl Street/PO Box 235, Springport, MI 49284. 517-857-4848.
