Kimberly's obituary
Kimberly Lorene Robbins Betts, age 59, passed away on July 27, 2025, at Paris Regional Hospital in Paris, Texas. She was born on October 28, 1965, in Fullerton, California, to Jeannie Stoddard and Jerry Robbins.
Kimberly was a loving mother, grandmother, partner, and friend. She is survived by her two daughters, Ashly Zorn and Melanie Bay-Andersen; her cherished grandchildren, Psalm Rodrigo, Mia Wells, Celina Wells, and Isis Waynewood; and her beloved boyfriend, Timothy Walker. Though distance separated her from some of her loved ones, she remained deeply connected and always made an effort to stay close through daily phone calls and heartfelt conversations.
A proud graduate of Wylie High School in Wylie, Texas, Kimberly went on to live a life of care and compassion through her work. She served others as a billing and coding specialist, a massage therapist, a CNA, and a caretaker for individuals with mental challenges. Her nurturing spirit and strength touched many lives.
Kimberly had a heart for animals and was especially devoted to her cat Bella, as well as a group of stray cats she lovingly named Simon, Simba, and Binks. She found joy in the simple things — playing Bingo and board games like Yahtzee and Farkle with her grandchildren, and always trying to bring her family together. Family was everything to Kimberly, and her love was felt across every mile that separated them.
A woman of strong Christian faith, Kimberly found comfort in watching Joyce Meyer and Joel Osteen, and in the promises of Scripture. She was such a strong woman who had so much more life to live, and her presence will be deeply missed.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” —Psalm 34:18
Kimberly leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. She will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
