Kimberly Purifoy, 57, of Washington D.C., passed away on January 18, 2022 after a valiant battle with Lou Gehrig's disease. 

Kimberly was born on September 9th, 1964 to Laetitia and Kenneth in Elmira, NY. After graduating from Elmira Free Academy in 1982, she went on to study at Rochester Institute of Technology. In 1992, she moved to Laurel, MD with her partner Jerome Sr, going on to have two children, Shannon and Jerome Jr. Those who knew her will remember Kimberly for her humility, kindness, simplicity, and eternal smile. We will miss her greatly.

Kimberly was predeceased by her parents Laetitia and Kenneth and her brother Richard. She is survived by her partner Jerome Sr; her brother Mark;  her children Romeje, Shannon, and Jerome Jr; and her granddaughter Faith. 

There will be a celebration of life at Faith Temple Community Church of God in Christ Saturday, April 23rd at 1:00 PM.
