Background
If there’s one thing I know about my mom, it was that she would not want any traditional funeral service, with everyone dressed in black and crying. She said to me on several occasions, “When I die, I want you to throw a party.” Of course, this time has come much sooner than any of us could have expected, so some necessary preparations have not been set up.
With your donation, you will allow us to accomplish this one last request of my beautiful mother. She was certainly known to be the life of the party in her life and this should be true even in her death.
So for all of you who have known and loved my mother over the years, please consider assisting us in throwing her a beautiful celebration of her life. No all-black, no crying and eulogizing, just lots of classic rock and quite a bit of red! Let’s live life to the fullest, exactly as our beloved mom, sister, daughter, and friend would.
