Kimberly's obituary

Kimberly Ann Jones passed away on September 3, 2020. Kim was the daughter of the late John Blue and Agnes P. Mason. Kim was born on March 13, 1970 in Washington, D.C. and was raised with one sister Angela. Kim attended TC Martin in Bryantown, MD and graduated from Leonardtown High School in 1988 where she was popular and well liked.

Kim had a tenured career in Convenience Retailing at Food Lion, Charlotte Hall, MD until her retirement due to health issues caused by Sickle Cell Anemia.

Kim will be remembered for her kind, giving and caring nature that always put people’s well-being before her own. She will also be remembered for her great sense of humor and vibrant personality. If you needed a good laugh, you could always depend on Kim to give you many. Kim especially appreciated her time with her husband, Marvin and her children Skye and Alijah. Kim enjoyed spending time playing cards especially spades, eating crabs with family and friends. Kim loved to reminisce, reflect and laugh about past times.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents, John Blue and Agnes Mason; brother Daniel Blue; aunts Mildred Gross & Mary Cecilia Butler; uncles David, James Jr. & Rudolph Butler; grandparents James Cullins and Sarah Butler.

Kim is survived by her husband, Marvin Jones of Springfield, VA; her daughter Skye Stewart of Bushwood, MD; her son Alijah Jones of Springfield VA; her sister Angela Fenwick (Brian) of Bushwood, mother and father-in-law, Alice and Fenton Mims of Springfield VA; four aunts Barbara Neal of Clinton, MD, Charlene Butler, Baltimore, Aurelia Marshall, Clinton & Mary Holton of Leonardtown, MD; one uncle Francis Butler (Evelyn) of Mechanicsville; nephews Bryson and Braylon Fenwick; god-brother Gary Mitchell; special brother Michael Reeves (Dee); Step-mother, Mrs. Marva Daye, Step-brother, Theron Stevens; special friend, Scott Stewart; childhood friends Kathy Garcia, Crystal Holton, Paula Somerville & Patricia Bannister as well as a host of relatives and friends that are too many to name.

Kim is now with her Savior and her beloved mother, "Suga Pig", that she missed and loved so dearly.
