It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kimberly Gordon, who left us far too soon on February 5, 2024 after a long battle with mental illness.
Born on October 16, 2009 in Plano, TX. Kimberly's light shone brilliantly during her brief time with us. She loved music, animations, and her birds. Despite her young age, she touched the lives of many with her whimsical spirit, relentless optimism, and compassionate nature. Her presence will be missed greatly by all, yet her influence will persist through the beautiful memories she left behind. In her memory, we will forever be reminded of the value of kindness and compassion to anyone who is struggling.
She is survived by her mother Ellie Dayandante, her father Aaron Gordon, her siblings Juliet and Julian Dayandante, grandmother Anita, as well as her parakeets Kiwi and Pete.
The family will be hosting the visitation on Friday, February 9th at 6:00 pm in Irving, TX as well as the service on Saturday, February 10th at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Autism Speaks Dallas-Forth Worth chapter or Mental Health America of Greater Dallas.
